BLOG went down, but is up again

by eliasen 20. July 2007 07:30

Hi

A couple of weeks ago, I switched from using web10 to using needhost as my web hotel provider. The primary reason for this was, that the mail service at web10 was incredibly instable. Half of the time, I couldn't connect with my pop3 server, and then suddenly, my mailbox was frozen somehow, so no new mail arrived for me for 6-7 days. That did it, and I switched to needhost.

I am very happy being at needhost - and everything seems to work well right now.

So hopefully, the blog will now be up and running for a looooong time :-)

Goodbye WM-data, hello thy:data

by eliasen 19. June 2007 18:16

Hi

Recently, I decided it was time for me to start looking for a new job. Luckily, I found a new one, and as of August 1'st, I am no longer employed at WM-data. I have been at WM-data since June 23'rd 2003 - just after I got my masters degree in computer science. I have been very happy with the job, but lately, I started wondering if another job might be even better.

I found this job at thy:data, where I have been hired as a solution architect for their integration projects. I will still be using BizTalk Server and I will still be the same me - just at another company.

Also, as a little side effect, I have decided to start a very small freelance company with just me in it. the company will be called eliasen.eu and the homepage with more information will be available soon, I hope.

Trackbacks are disabled

by eliasen 12. October 2006 13:37

Hi

It so really annoys me whenever I have to change my ways of doing things because some people insist that it is okay to bother others.

Spam is a great example - the mere fact that I can't write my email address in a public place without receiving spam the next day. Sigh.

Anyway, I, as many others, have disabled trackbacks on my blog, since it was filling up with porno and other stuff.

Should anyone have a good solution for dasBlog, le tme know :-)

by eliasen 27. September 2006 20:32
Hi

In my RSS aggregator I have the sourceforge file releases for dasBlog as a feed.

So the other day I read that a new version of dasBlog had been released.

Well, today I have finally had the opportunity to upgrade to the new version.

Should you notice anything weird, please let me know.

Wrong diploma

by eliasen 27. September 2006 18:49

Hi

I received the diploma for passing the 74-135 exam in BizTalk server 2004 the other day.

And... well... see if you can spot the error:

I have phoned support. They will correct it and send me another diploma. Until then, I am very proud to be the only person in the world (unless anyone else has gotten the same diploma?) that is certified in BizTalk Server 2003 :D

MCTS: BizTalk Server 2006

by eliasen 24. August 2006 20:29

Hi

Well, today was the day where I passed the 70-235 exam in BizTalk Server 2006.

So now I have passed all three BizTalk exams - BizTalk 2000, BizTalk 2004, and BizTalk 2006. Anyone else who has done that? :-)

I wonder how soon I can order my welcome kit at microsoft.com/learning :-)

My second son

by eliasen 19. August 2006 21:27
Hi everyone!

Three weeks ago, my second son was born. So now I am the proud father of two sons.

They have a homepage, my sons... it can be found at http://andreas-og-emil.eliasen.dk

It is only in Danish, I'm afraid.

Oh yeah, and it is my first attempt at making anything in ASP.NET 2.0 - and I've even used the Masterpage functionality :-)

Hi, and welcome to my very first blog entry here at http://blog.eliasen.dk - I hope to be able to blog about some issues I run into using BizTalk and other server products from time to time.

Let me know if you have any questions and/or comments for me.
